LEGAL TRAINING RESOURCE CENTER

Tanzania is one of five countries that together form the East African region. Tanzania has two bar associations which are members of the East Africa Law Society: the Zanzibar Law Society and the Tanganyika Law Society.

Tanzania has ratified the International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights.
