The International Criminal Court (French: Cour Penal Internationale; commonly referred to as the ICC) is an independent, permanent tribunal, seated in the Hague, Netherlands. The ICC tries individuals accused of the most serious crimes of international concern, such as crimes against humanity, genocide, and war crimes.
